Self-realization is the ultimate goal, and religion is one of the many paths towards achieving it. There are numerous explored and unexplored ways of living that can lead to self-realization. Often, we deny the possibility of realizing our true selves through a particular method just because we are unfamiliar with it. However, once the true self is realized, it becomes evident that the means are not as important as the destination itself.
Individuals
who have attained self-realization often choose to live ordinary lives,
recognizing the world as a mere illusion where efforts to alter it are futile.
Some, however, engage in activities and view this illusion as part of a divine
dream, participating in it while fully aware of its illusory nature. Numerous
enlightened individuals contribute significantly to various fields such as
economics, sports, women's empowerment, humanity’s upliftment, poverty
alleviation, education, martial arts, literature, and the arts. They work
quietly among people, making meaningful contributions.
In this
article, we will explore a straightforward and accessible method for achieving
self-realization. This method was introduced following a master’s visit to
Shambhala, where he observed the daily practices of its inhabitants. While the
residents of Shambhala practice this method naturally, individuals like us may
need to make a conscious effort until it becomes second nature.
In previous post, the concept of embodying multiple subtle and gross
bodies was explored. The physical, emotional, intellectual, and pranic bodies are
acknowledged through both our outer and inner perceptions. However, the
innermost body, known as Ananda maya kosha, remains largely unfamiliar to many
individuals. This knowledge was imparted to us by my guru some time ago,
providing us with deeper understanding and subtle energies.
The essence of the Anna Maya Kosha is food nourishment, while the Ananda Maya Kosha embodies Ananda, a divine matter (energy). Our guru frequently reminds us that the atmosphere of Parabrahma Loka, the realm of the formless divine, is permeated by Ananda. We possess this energy within us continuously, and it is possible to communicate with our innermost body by mentally requesting the release of this energy from the body to disseminate it globally. By visualizing or strongly imagining that this energy is emanating from Ananda Maya Kosha and extending to other koshas such as Vignana Maya Kosha, Mano Maya Kosha, Prana Maya Kosha, and Anna Maya Kosha, and subsequently filling our surroundings, the process can be expedited.
There is a saying that simple things are often overlooked. It is hard to imagine discovering the truth in such a straightforward manner. Since the approach is uncomplicated, I wouldn't be surprised if people didn't take this post seriously. Despite requiring minimal action, this method produces guaranteed result, takes us to Godhood.
